CID on Jan 4, stated that during investigation in Apr 2010, Nithayanada admitted, during her (Ranjitha's) stay at his (Nithyananda's) Bidadi ashram for more than a year, he ''had sex with her many times."
The whole controversy of the sex scandal gained a new power when Ranjitha on Dec 31 once again claimed, "I am not the person in the tapes. I cannot go by a forensic lab report."

However, CID claimed that during his interrogation on Apr 27, Nithyananda's recorded statement gave graphic details of his alleged affair with Ranjitha. CID also quoted the god-man as saying, "might have had sex with more than 15 women."
Ranjitha on Dec 31, also claimed that Nithyananda's former driver Lenin, who disclosed the sex video among the media, allegedly tried to rape her (Ranjitha).

But contrary to the South Indian actress' statement, CID on Jan 4 claimed, "She could have told us while we were recording her statement in Chennai. She had never said anything against Lenin then."
CID, in its statement also confirmed that the images in the sex video are genuine and are neither morphed nor any body double has been used.
